PERSONAL STATEMENT
Associate Prof Hanh Tran graduated Bachelor, MPH and PhD degrees in Environmental Health/Public Health in Australia. Currently, Hanh is a senior lecturer in Environmental Health and head of the Research Management and Cooperation Department at Hanoi University of Public Health (HUPH). She is responsible for supporting the Rector and management board to grow the research portfolio for the University, mentoring junior faculty in their professional development and has her own research portfolio focusing on environmental health risk assessment, risk communication, dioxin research, climate change and health, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, NCDs and other Environmental Health/Public Health issues. In the past 22 years, she has been managing/implementing over 20 Public Health/Environmental Health projects in collaboration with partners in the UK, Canada, Sweden, Thailand and Vietnam. In addition to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, implementing research projects, and advocating for policy development, Hanh has been a reviewer for over 10 international peer-reviewed journals, has published over 60 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, over 40 articles in national peer-reviewed journals and 24 books as an editor/author.
